When the parking signal is touched by car, or anything else, light flashes. This item has been taken out of the box only for these pictures and to change batteries on light if needed. This item is new in the box. I have used two of these in the back garage.

The red light has a clear plastic tab that to be pulled out and removed activates the button type batteries. They work well. Flashing garage parking signal by Sharper Image. FREE SHIPPING in the USA.
